Recently a Google Play Store update was released which causes certain apps such as Google Chrome and the Smartcode app to show a white screen when the app starts up.
To cure this issue reset your device using these instructions
Once your device restarts allow it to connect to wifi and it will update the Google Play store. You will see the Play store icon change from

Once thats updated you can log into the Google Play store with your Google account and search for the 'Smartcode' application.
You will need a device code to activate the app once installed which you can obtain by raising a support ticket.
