How to Disable the Order Cache

Ensure your order data always comes live from the Smartcode server

For performance reasons your Smartcode devices will 'cache' your order data to offer fast response times when you scan an order. 

All your order data is pushed to your devices at regular intervals to keep devices operation should you have any wifi blackspots in your warehouse or if your website/ERP/WHM system goes down.

 

In certain situations you may want to disable the order caching to ensure everytime you scan an order it is pulled live from your source data. To do this open up the Smartcode app 

 

  • Click the 'Settings' icon

  • Tick the 'Skip Order Cache' option

 

Your order data will now be obtained from source every time you scan.
